The real Yglesias problem

A poster wonders why Yglesias always get trashed in the comments.

His problem is that most of his theories are about fixing the bad results from the same theories.  HSR is a huge energy waste precisely because Yglesias wants it centrally planned.  We have an entitlement structural problem precisely because of the bad Yglesias theories.  He believes that by declaration, Ben in the Fed can instantly become a construction manager and hire construction workers.   He thinks the nations of the EU will never default because they have a central bank and can print money.

It is like debating Jimmy Carter,  he just makes things up.
