Tea Party proposes cuts, Mankiw proposes tax hikes

Great start. Add in defense cuts, refuse the debt limit.
One more thing. Mankiw has a theory for hiking the tax rates in higher incomes.

The Mankiw theory goes like this: If you get real cuts than you can restore the high incomes tax rates.   After all, that was the Pelosi./Obama deal.  If they can spend like crazy then income taxes stay low.  Since the Tea Party prevents the spending like crazy part, Mankiw gets his tax hikes returned to the table.

And no Eric Cantor crap, the Tea Party must go for all three, Domestic, defense, and Mankiw tax hikes. If they do that, then fine and dandy, look to raise earmark spending for your district.
