Lawyers, locals and the California default process

City Officials Band Together and Threaten Legal Fight Over Redevelopment; News Round-Up
on Friday many officials made it clear that the elimination of redevelopment is not an option they’re willing to accept without a fight. Labor activists, business executives, and more than 100 mayors and city council members gathered at the Sacramento Convention Center as a sign of solidarity and willingness to take the matter to the courts. Officials have said they will sue the state if attempts to halt the proposal in the Legislature are unsuccessful.
