How mankind can survive total destruction from a caldera explosion

Scientists have analysed the molten rock within the dormant supervolcano beneath Yellowstone National Park and found that eruption is possible without any external trigger


I guess, by implication, the volcano theory of the ice ages is correct. A super volcano explosion causes ice age, big time. But there is is the clue to survival, do it backwards. Deliberately put the planet into ice age conditions, after we all move to the equator. Then most calderas are covered with a kilometer of ice, they won't explode so often..
