The Fresno, California Euler police

These are the semi-police, neighborhood, good living, code enforcement police. They tagged my truck for having a flat tire, in my driveway. They spent a lot of time with me when I was adding a bathroom to this house. We have an even more local bunch, the Tower code enforcers, a semi-legal extra layer of good housekeeping just for the local 10 city square blocks.

I call them the Euler police because they make everything march to the same drummer, so we all make smooth movements together.  Like my truck and the flat.  If my allocation of auto space is wasted on an unusable truck, then something is not quite right, someone will be confused, a store merchant expecting me to drive by perhaps. So the Eulers look out for that sort of thing.

Anyway what's a libertarian going to think?

Oddly, this is all local control, a small city, mostly democratic voting.  There is a noxious odor coming from Sacramento that intensifies the problem, but basically we are a free city.  The libertarian would say: If you want government mandated Eulerism, do it at the local level.

Policía código falso en Fresno es tonta.
