Jerry Brown's record at infrastructure development

Silicon Valley: A resolution has been introduced in the state Legislature to name the interchange at Highway 101 and Interstate 280-680 after the San Jose councilman who in 1976 pulled off one of the greatest — and maybe most effective — stunts in Bay Area history.
Construction started on the interchange — then came to a sudden halt as then-Gov. Jerry Brown suspended most highway building in the state in a cost-cutting measure. Road crews disappeared and what remained was a 200-foot ramp suspended in the air with rebar sticking out of both ends.

Here is jerry Brown pulling the same stunt, photographed with a loose piece of rail. From the SacBee.

Jerry needs a model rail road.  In five years of effort I count two old buildings torn down and six lawsuits.  At that rate we will have five old buildings torn down and four lawsuits when Jerry leaves the scene.
