Each Bitcoin Transaction Uses As Much Energy As Your House In A Week

This is OK for large quantities moving infrequently, what Uncle Milt calls high powered money. We are not buying candy bars on a block chain.  In fact, we will not notify any clearing house to buy a candy bar, our smart cards can clear it immediately.  

Then, later, at a convenient time, both parties may safely shift their crypto cash around, using point to point clearing in a secure environment. Little of our investment cash will be on block chain, but mostly our digital assets will be on block chain.   Even today, the typical bitcoin is held for a week or so.
