WASHINGTON: Iran has not drawn back to a less threatening military posture in the region following the attack on Saudi Arabia, the top US admiral in the Middle East told Reuters, suggesting persistent concern despite a lull in violence.“I don’t believe that they’re drawing back at all,” Vice Admiral Jim Malloy, commander of the US Navy’s Bahrain-based Fifth Fleet, said in an interview.The United States, Saudi Arabia, Britain, France and Germany have publicly blamed the attack on Iran, which denies involvement in the strike on the world’s biggest crude oil-processing facility. The Iran-aligned Houthi militant group in Yemen has claimed responsibility.Malloy did not comment on any US intelligence guiding his assessment. But he acknowledged that he monitored Iranian activities closely, when asked if he had seen any concerning movements of Iranian missiles in recent weeks.Our US Admiral has no defense, that is his message.
He knows that as soon as a carrier is place in the Persian Gulf, he can expect swarms of drones from just about everyone, including the media. And that makes his carrier a 10 billion dollar piece of crap.
That is his complaint and he wants socialist war to protect his carriers. He wants a rule that antique carriers get their guaranteed place in war, a sort of socialism with his enemies. If he does not get that rule then he has to explain the 4 trillion in wasted development of carriers and aircraft.
Let me explain the rule to our dense military. In open seas anyone can legally fly a drone. Your commander in chief, plus our own military ignorance, as left our US Military useless and powerless. Connect the dots and you will find the disutility of our expensive military corresponds tihgtly with the Trump son-in-law getting an Arab bailout of his hotel. A snot nosed kid getting us in a trillion dollar defense commitment, and Trump as clueless as a turnip about the whole mess.
