Sell out the Kurds?

U.S. pulls troops from northeast Syria ahead of Turkish attack

I am not sure.  Kurds cannot expect permanent military support. And the US is leaving them with plenty of weaponry.

The problem is that is means Russia and Syria have maneuvered themselves into a pickle with Turkey.  Russia is in defacto agreement with Turkey on strategic grounds but Bashar is quite alarmed. Everyone preferred the status quo but couldn't say it, as it relied on the Americans.

All in all I say this is OK, get out for a while. Inevitably Syrians will fuck this up and the problem with Mohummerdudes resurfaces.
