Texas cops, motive and opportunity, the natural suspects

Ocasio-Cortez demands authorities 'get to the bottom' of Joshua Brown's murder

And, anything from Texas is assumed corrupt until proven otherwise.

So, AOC is right to have the Feds pursue this, we are unlikely to get an acceptale investigation by Texas.

This is the stuff that makes bearing of arms seem preferable.  But still, having arms is not enough, the prove militia must register itself as a regulated militia in charge of hunting down and arresting rogue cops.  I can see a private regulated militia operating in secret with the Feds to track and capture bonehead Texas cops. That is a valid use of the Second.

But it is still a bit of conflict, the regulated militia, and overlapping government police work ok, the one set of cops investigating the other. Just keep a private regulated militia handy for those gun battles where we get the necessity to shoot rogue cops.

The more I read about this, the more I suspect Texas cops, AOC is right on to press for full, ongoing investigation. Not just this case, but many more. We see videos of Texas cops engaging in pure murder and getting off the legal hook.
