Thomas Aquinas said to expect truth in the hand of god

What is the most likely path to the truths of nature? At the time, Thomas would have selected the great christian literature, the catholic controlled the library system. That is what he meant, Word of God. Man's ability at the written word generates man's ability to find cause and effect, have god's word revealed.

It was in fact, god's forces of gravity that started the revolution.  Gravity was and still today considered a silent force that sits behind the white space and draws neat rectangular matrices,  the hand of god.

That models carries truth, was provable in the sacred texts, which at the time, were mostly catholic. Two hundred years later another Christian from the English sect did just that, described gravity a a magical pull between bodies. It worked! Still works, actually. Works for about 90% of what we do.

Language is a calculating machine, Thomas did not use those words, but when he talked the sacred word he meant a proveable grammar, on paper (not parchment), the unique human capability.

It wasn't long before the large christian universities began science.
