All week long, the story has been the rise of Pete Buttigieg to co-frontrunner status with Bernie Sanders. The latest exclusive WBZ/Boston Globe/Suffolk University tracking poll shows they’re still co-leaders within the poll’s 4.4% margin of error, with Sanders holding steady at 24% and Buttigieg slipping a bit to 22%.The Dem voters remember the last time they elected the socialist. Insurance premiums more than doubled and Dems lost four of the next five elections.
Elizabeth Warren and Joe Biden remain static in third and fourth places with 13% and 10% respectively.
But now there’s another candidate on a bit of a roll. Amy Klobuchar is right behind Biden now at 9%, up three points over Friday night. She appears to be the only candidate to get a boost from Friday’s debate, with two-thirds of the poll taken during and after that event.
And it seems the debate injected doubt into the minds of some voters. The undecideds rose from 7% Friday night to 12% Saturday night.
It was not that long ago, the the tax bite was not trivial, it was a good chunk of a middle class paycheck. Dems voters are beginning to think that maybe t is not that simple, after all, and they had better be more careful with their vote.
Petagig is the only candidate that come off with an elite point of view, more likely to be trusted. It is a sad state of affairs, we now have a bunch of rabble rousers who reject Obamacare and want another massive tax hike for Everything for Everyone. Voters will be running from those nutcases.
We can actually seer the voters flee their own votes, in Illinois, New York and California. Voters voting with their feet will remember for a long time the cost of their votes back home.
