When all saints required a vision of the dead

I am reading the biography of the saints, in Spanish. salesman wrote it.

Every saint had to have the supernatural vision of the beloveds appearing and instructing them on the wonder of god's word.  What was that about?

The story of jesus was simple, plain. That story fit in all dialects of the oral societies.  So. one instantly had a market for the bible, as a dictionary into Latin.  The monks create the local entries, Then any of the peasants can learn to translate and read the original story. It was the same marketing techniques as google translate, and it was powerful.  Kings wanted control over the local grammar, they didn't get it.  Church remained the official library for a long time. And they took the scripts and Latin grammar through more than one revision, mostly for the positive. Then came paper.
