Another round in the earmark pits

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) is expected to offer a unanimous consent request on Thursday to revise language pertaining to spending on state and foreign operations in the $2.3 trillion omnibus and coronavirus relief package after President Trump called such spendinginto question.

At Christmas?

He is proposing a three day project.  It will not be done by Christmas, and might get done just before New Year.  The new legislature arrives, the bill is moot. We missed this, a plot to redo this with an expanded set of House republicans, and after the Georgia elections.  The Georgia election polls slightly favor the Repubs.

The real deal is Romney and McConnell, in the Senate.
