GOP is fully committed *as a party* to restricting voting rights everywhere
We lack democratic government any way. One idea os to make voting difficult so only those invested want to vote.
The problem is not that uninformed vote, but that we are deliberately uninformed out of efficiency in the varied government voting environments. Local issues tend to dominate, as they should. Up the government chain we lose efficiency anyway, and votes are distorted.
The unlimited voting campaigners are about two party democracy, a different thing. In the end it does not matter, if anyone is denied an S/L account from lack of ID, they are already in deep trouble. Fixing thst problem automatically makes instant on line, secure voting possible. Itr isd a clear non issue today.
