On July 17 at East Julian Street and West Court, Castillo sold the undercover agent an AK-47 assault rifle and more than 800 rounds of ammunition for $1,400, court documents said. But this time, "El Gallo" (Spanish for Rooster) delivered his weapons from a baby carriage that he wheeled to the undercover officer's car, court documents allege.
At the last second, the documents allege, Castillo threw in a revolver for $550.
On July 26, the officer came back for more.
At the same spot, Castillo showed up to sell the officer two more guns -- a rifle and a sawed-off shotgun -- and a quarter pound of meth, documents say. Cost: $3,500.
Castillo was arrested on Dec. 31, 2008, for entering the country illegally and deported. Somehow, he found his way back and on Sept. 2, both men were in the same pickle after authorities busted them at the hot dog stand.
The men face years in prison if convicted. Mercury news
These folks are real zombies, long time meth users with sever brain damage. Violent, paranoid, prone to bursts of rage; they are leftovers from the meth drugged shock troops of Mexican drug cartels.
