TaxVox: On the day Bush spoke [about doing more spending] , the House Ways & Means Committee took its first vote of the new Congress on the ever-expiring tax extenders. And it voted to restore and make permanent seven of those subsidies—a step that would pick winners and losers and add about $93 billion to the nation’s debt over the next decade. Is there room for these tax breaks in Bush’s take-no-sides vision of government?

Jeb and Republicans team up to deficit spend and crash the economy
Tax Vox reports on Bush and his plans for more deficit spending while the Republicans Congress carries through on raising the deficit. Straight out of Martin Feldstein's play book, spend like demons, run up the deficit, and crash the economy. I say we just skip the election, have the Jeb Bush recession, then take a break from DC for four years.
