Zero confirmation with a priced crawl back

Over the past few weeks, the bitcoin cash (BCH) community and developers have been discussing ‘zero-confirmation’ or ‘instant transactions.’ Many BCH supporters believe if the concept was broadly accepted, payments and transaction speed would be extremely fast bringing a significant competitive edge to the BCH network.
A variation of revoke with time out, perhaps.  We observe the ledger queue, the counter party  has submitted. If after some time the counterparty is not observed to put a second on queue, you need not worry?  Some variation, the geeks will crack it.  The simple web swaps have the one step crawl back under congestion.
