Better Pete be young healthy runner up not exhausted with a useless campaign. He is better, long term, for the party. Bernie is not leading this party anywhere, Pete, behind the scenes for now, is what the Dems need, a party leader for after the election. In four years Pete can run.
Pete knows the last mile of government, local government. And he knows the staggering idiocy of the senate system. Look at the current crop, all senators, like being a senator suddenly makes you important enough to run for prez, 22, I think, about a quarter of the senate. That is ridiculous management of 20% of the economy, and that is the problem.
We need Pete long term, behind the scenes, working the deal we need, then run in four years and implement complete reform, the Senate through to central banking, forcing generational overlap, getting the defaults going smoothly
