Then monetary policy will work very well in and around the West Coast. Yglesias still comparing a central bank which well covers the economy (Sweden) to a central bank which well covers the Washington DC/NYC area.
Let California renounce the $15 trill and have its own central bank; that monetary policy will do wonders for us, but put Yglesias on the street.
