Good Grief

Under the National Operations Center (NOC)’s Media Monitoring Initiative that emerged from the Department of Homeland Security in November, Washington has written permission to collect and retain personal information from journalists, news anchors, reporters or anyone who uses “traditional and/or social media in real time to keep their audience situationally aware and informed.” Yahoo

The problem is information CIOs, government spies, Googles, control freaks. The money is not in the Internet, it is others tying to control the Internet. Government workers, from Ben's shoe shine kid to President Obomney will increasingly have access to all information, encoded and indexed the way they want, from their smart phones. The new information streams are not controllable!
