Rand vs the Republican Communist Party

Rand would be my second choice, after O'Malley. He is small state, but not a governor, and he has to run uphill against  Republican Stalinist Stupidity.

Politico: LOUISVILLE, Ky. — After watching his father try for the presidency and fail three separate times, Rand Paul on Tuesday officially embarked on his own White House bid, a campaign designed to tap into Ron Paul’s legacy without being suffocated by it.
Paul kicked off the launch on Tuesday with an emailed fundraising solicitation, ahead of an appearance at the Galt House Hotel where, advisers said, Paul would present himself as a change agent who would reform the federal government.

“Today I’m announcing I’m running for President of the United States of America because I want to defeat the Washington machine,” Paul wrote in one version of the email. He posted a similar announcement on his campaign site RandPaul.com.
