The taxers are shutting down my small swap net slumlording operation. I keep about 10 people in housing with plumbing, sewage and electricity at below market rates. Been doing it for years. Government is going to inherit ten more people wandering the streets.
The local government here is on a crack down against slumlords, and the inspection requirements are driving many of us out of business. The resulting tenants, on the street, tend to wander back south to LA, with athis local push.
The small landlord is the last defense against the meth cartels out here, government is not to be trusted any more we have already had too many bribes uncovered. landlords are escaping, rents on the rise, poor moving to unofficial camotowns.
