The illegal drug Methamphetamine is far more damaging to younger brains than adults. It causes severe damage to the region of the brain that controls “executive function,” according to a University of Utah press release. The study was a joint effort by University of Utah and University in Seoul. It focused on adolescent and adult meth users in South Korea. Users were given MRI brain scans, which revealed a severe decrease in the the gray matter in the frontal cortex of younger users when compared with adult users. This region of the brain is believed to be responsible for organization and reasoning, also known as “executive function.”Meth hits women and adolescents harderest, the brain lesions are real and maybe permanent. In the neighborhood to the west of me about 30% of the teenage girls hit the streets and die young. Once their reasoning capacity is gone, they can only recover by institutionalizing them, a very difficult and expensive task.
The Mexican meth cartels in Fresno do a thorough job. And the bribery is ongoing making the local police force ineffective.
Work camp for the ladies
Or, let them die; I leave it up to the wisdom of the crowds. They have it the worst, a painful life, slow death. When they are young, send them to workcamp for a few days, earn some bucks. Segregate the sexes is a must, the meth addicted have extreme sex panics, believe it or not, a real pain.
