Not quite Robert H. Scales

Robert H. Scales, a retired Army major general says:
We cannot pick our enemies; our enemies will pick us.

Not quite. If I recall, Connecticut picks our enemies via Leiberman's monthly war declarations, with help from Arizona and South Carolina.
Who picked Viet Nam to go fuck with? Some deranged Jackass from Texas, a Rick Perry look alike. Who got confused in WW1 and invaded Mexico? An idiot named Wilson. Evidently he had a stroke, and his wife was a little shaky on geography.

We pick our enemies, via some deranged anti-democratic religious fevor. We would do the world a favor and let them fight the wars without the help of our aircraft carriers, paid for by Californians who haven't had enough of a vote to declare war in recent years.

When the deranged in Washington pick wars, Americans are often on the other side.
