In semantic graph, insert graph is a problem for object pointers which are embedded into the subject, predicate, object format. A new insert recounts all the object pointers in a sequential nested graph.
Sqlite rowid ahas the sam problem, resetting roids after an insert. But it does the job. let wodid do the work, take that function as part of the standard. Object pointers, then using relative units will need rowid to located bounding objects. So what, its a pain for the rowid function, but the function exists already and does the job.
So we can say that insert graph is certainly reasonable, though the semantic format is really designed for search and collect, and less for insert. Want to insert into an existing graph? No problem, you will be as efficient as rowid.
