Banks are free to sell checking accounts on Amazon

Next Up for Amazon: Checking Accounts

This is a case of stupid is as stupid does.

Banks sell checking accounts, not merchants.  Why don't banks sell their own on line savings and loan service on Amazon? Why not? Is there a regulation that Jeff get  slice of every interest payment? Maybe banks need the Jeff to be the new central bank least they lose their way.

Hey, Powell, hey Fed researchers, why the frig can't these banks figure out how to sell S&L on Amazon?

This is our problem, give the central bank the illusion of monopoly and they start placing arbitrage moments everywhere in finance.

Sandbox gives fiaters a  tool box, a multi-vendor set  of interoperating building blocks.  All connected in the escrow network designed out of existing fiat technology.  This is the banks business, managing the free entry and exit and price congestion in the monetary network. I tire of doing their job.
