We allow open carry of chainsaws

Some restrictions by OSHA, keep your distance when running the thing.

But we don't have a disorganized militia of nuts advocating the chainsaw be an offensive weapon for sudden attacks and killings. The last thing we need are chainsaw massacres.

We need a military engagement, against the unregulated gun runners, the NRA.  We need to exercise our second amendment, a right to organize a militia and extinguish the nuts. They preach manhood at the point of a barrel, and pitch that to confused young rural white males. Result, mass shootings every time, the NRA and others like them need elimination.
