Meth heads cannot conceive of alternatives

They have no ability to select between plausible alternatives in life as the brain can no longer conceive of alternatives, their brains are dying.  

The only time I have seen the meth head give up the pipe was when they were incarcerated or otherwise held against their will.  Under these circumstances, the pipe is not an alternative, and the brain can slowly construct new pathways.

I have three meth head women tenants who cannot survive unless I play the 'kindly doorman' and slip them toilet paper and a bit of cash now and then.  But this is the second property I am selling as part of my  pension stampede.  These three women die on the street, the county cannot afford the doorman services they need to survive.
