Trump now doing the Carter

Just days after apparently withdrawing US troops from Syria, much to the chagrin of the military-industrial-complex-sponsored Washington establishment, The Wall Street Journal reports that The White House is considering options for leaving about 500 U.S. troops in northeast Syria and sending dozens of battle tanks and other equipment to protect them.

President Indecisive in action. Trump gets confused and can't remember, just takes the latest advice. The man has gotten a bit nuttier than last time.

Something confuses me.  We still support Syrian rebels in Syria even as we agreed to Turkish and Russian terms!

Syria is a mess and it seems to me the Kurds have won autonomy in the yellow partition. If Assad wants to keep his borders then Assad has to cooperate with the Kurds.
