When a 30 year negative trend effects growth

Then current growth is unsustainable, Obama is correct, though Brad makes a very good point about why we have a 30 year negative growth trend.

But, somewhere the obvious becomes the null hypothesis, something is happening to us, and it likely is still happening until we can  identify it.
