But, fear not, the Apple encryption lawsuit tells us that personal tap codes with our cards are secure. Make a good tap code, 'Shave and a haircut, two bits' will not do, too common. If you don't like tapping, add a couple of compression buttons to the card. But if your card is low security, say it never holds more than a hundred secure, retail transactions, then finger printing is secure enough.
