A pretty good read on the impossibility of blocking end to end encryption.
In sandbox, we have what seems like a small concession gets us a long way. We need enough end to end encryption to keep a hundred dollars in our card for direct purchases of text on the web. Using bearer asset in something like Penny Clicker solves a bunch of congestion and misery problems on the web, we need that.
Somehow we need to remove this issue from the larger debate, make an ex ante exception for petty cash.
The author missed the contradiction, the NSA request, and the similar requests in the UK, make theft of government data real. Politicians do not get all the ramifications, and mostly blow smoke. Somehow, sandbox wants to skirt the debate.
