We re third in the number of bank closings. Here are the states with more than 10% of customers unbanked:
Alabama ,Arizona , Arkansas , District of Columbia , Georgia , Louisiana , Mississippi , New Mexico , Oklahoma , South Carolina , Texas , West Virginia
And the trend:
Retail banking is shrinking, the poor are being kicked out of accounts, mainly due to Fed taxes. Hence the collapse in retail banking should hit in a year or two of double Fed taxes.
Interest rates are not low. Higher charges get reflected in banking fees. Poor people suffer, who should we blame? I mean the progressives seem the likely culprit they are the one who constently want Fed taxes raised on poor people.
But, in any event, we are suffering a No Taxation without Representation rebellion, a common feture of American central banking. Which progressives are guilty?
Here is Drum:
Republicans Still Refuse to Support Serious Stimulus. Why?
Then we have Ygesias, Bernstein, Krugman, Thoma. Republicans are from small rural states who suffer the most from regressive taxes on poor people. The progressives are engaged in fraud bordering on war crimes.
