The Fed wants a revision of its contract, and that is not dangerous. It happens every generation.  The problem is the 'This time is different' crowd, of which William is one.  No, this time is not different, the Fed is screwed and cannot get back to any reasonable equilbrium in money.  No amount of flat earthing and can kicking will save the situation.  It is a meeting of the elders and a flat earthing professor of Columbia is not invited..
