Congressional Democrats are discussing a stopgap bill to fund the government into February, sources told The Hill.
A spokesman for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), asked about the possibility, said that it was discussed during a closed-door leadership meeting but no decision was made.
Pelosi has decided the current spending is fine, pandemic or no. But she is holding out to almost double that spending rate with a stimulus.
She has the reverse problem, treating apples and apples as if they were apples and oranges. It is one budget, she wants a 7 trillion dollar federal budget, nearly twice the size of standard. Pelosi is not helping the election cause, especially since she wants the budget paid with bank taxes on the poor.
