Whose currency would that be?

Authored Thorstein Polleit via The Mises Institute,

“Lenin is said to have declared that the best way to destroy the Capitalist System was to debauch its currency….Lenin was certainly right. There is no subtler, no surer way of overturning the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose.

What currency? We have shadow banking, shadow banking can neutralize central bank distortion on the tax dollars, and they use other, virtual forms of currency to do so.

The proper way to manage central bank currency is to debauch is intelligently, as the government gets desperate.  Then after the government and central bank agree on a debauchery plan, the central bank can update its means and methods to utilize about 50 years of brilliant mathematicians perfecting banking theory.

There is no such thing a neutral central bank currency, it ultimately devolves into tax collection.  But we go through a debauchery phase and make is slightly better than last time.

Thorstein will be raving about the wonders of free banking soon, that is the only way he is getting accurate money. In the meantime, we will go ahead and debauch the currency sufficent to realize government losses.
