California, your Obamacare specialist

LA Times: Kaiser Permanente has selected Pasadena as the home of its new medical school, the healthcare giant announced Thursday.
Kaiser first announced plans in December to open a medical school but had not yet selected a site.
In a statement, the Oakland-based HMO giant said it chose central Pasadena because the site is close to major freeways, public transportation options and affordable housing.
Kaiser also said the school is within several miles of other Kaiser facilities where students will be trained.
Economies of scale in action,  Give California your sick and tired, they will fix them up and send Texas the bill.
