Ruskie had the best method, a repeat firing shotgun that flies around and hunts them down. Keep five or six of these on the mother drone, the surveillance drone will spot the incoming, then release the hunter killers for quick kill along the perimeter.

In civilian life the solution is simple, if your drone goes above 300 feet, then it needs a secure ID. If you cheat, the police drones will notice as they try to beed your ID, they can then shoot.
