You see the bigger issue for the NSA

When the NSA puts in its back door, then the NSA invalidates the good bots.

Good bots keep their own secrets, bu securely obey the rules verifiably, connected back to the foundry. The good bots make drone obey air traffic control, cars obey emissions, keep data from being stolen. And they do ot double spend. They are counterfeit proof.

They keep secrets, never to be told except via a digital will or live thumb print. But the bots and NSA can agree, ex ante, what kind of secrets are allowed, up to a bounds will covers a great many applications.

The NSA is better working with the foundry, up front,  on 'Obey and Protect', rather than prying data with back doors. An NSA approved obey and protect secure ID system is still greatly valued with severe limits. Such a processor design gives a sure path toward legality and safety in all things secure, it moves productivity forward.  The NSA need only monitor the good bots; the bots failing to sign up can be scrutinized more directly with forensics, being an isolated group.

Tim and he head of NSA are supposed to emerge from a meeting with an agreement on good bots.
