The UK’s Electoral System Failed

First-past-the-post voting has been praised for promoting political stability by producing two-party or nearly two-party systems. Yet, as the outcome of the United Kingdom's recent election shows, that supposed benefit comes at the price of a government in which a minority can ride roughshod over the interests and preferences of more than half of the population.

Did you notice that Trump was elected by a minority? Did you notice the Senae is not a proportional democracy?

The Crisis of Anglo-American Democracy

Yes, you attempted to compare the two. I doubt you have it right and it is not worth the sign up on Project Syndicate to find out.

If you had worked the problem to completeness you would have found the House to Senate scale problems. You would have adopted the fair trade to bridge the gap, the House to Senate payment scheme. You will not go that far, you will take the cheap road and protect your priors.
