Many big bangs says my hypothesis

We are still under 3D condition, but have managed a partition along dual curvature and sharing the spin axis.  But the vacuum operates in sample space, and this is ot stable, there sill be points of sudden congestion between the two curvatures. That will trigger the baryon reaction, a sudden correction by mass compression. But it all still happens at light speed, basically a vacuum swap between to strongly coherent 3D sytms made of the same stuff.

The gravitational constant is second order. So when mapping the observed light along R to a 3D there is a slight spiral that is collapsed giving the wrong impression. This show up as background radiation.  But that is likely predicted wrongly and is really the second moment of curvature.

Thus our snake is connected, rather violently.  But this means there is a tidal vacuum movement we have been missing.
