Iron age and boat building

There must be more to this story.  There are new iron tools for shaving, cutting and fitting wood. The boat takes both iron tools and iron rigging out to sea.  The Phoenicians had the boat building trade and dominated the large and growing Mediterranean trade. They learned the hieroglyphs, like others, but they spread the art.
