States never had the right to void a defensive medical procedure. It is in the about two or three amendments, fundamental, which allow protections for the pregnant.

The problem soon becomes moot as fetuses become viable outside the womb. If you are pregnant and the fetus is viable in the aquarium, then you have the problem, not the states. That dilemma will come long before the Thomas bonehead gets near the issue. The solution looks like a massive legal mess, but science makes it unavoidable.
