Expelling the white kids

A new mandatory, $23 million “anti-bias” program is training New York City school teachers to discriminate against white children, no matter what.
The New York Post recently published remarks from one training session, in which the instructor defined ‘racial equality’ as favoring non-white students over white students, regardless of any other circumstances.
As I understand it, the plot involves sending all the white kids out to suburban schools where they live in misery being the abandoned race.  Their parents will have to toil in PTA meetings and soccer organizations, doing slave time as Cub Scout leaders.

Dershowitz gets a clue

Dershowitz: Let Mueller Be Our Last Special Counsel Ever

Yes, it was a complete farce, slap stick Mueller.

From start to finish, a comedy of errors with no probable cause.  The entire purpose of the investigation was to give psychotherapy to a bunch of shell shocked dingbats. McCain then Hillary on some bizarre deranged paranoid delusion, and who cares.

Dealing with failed Hispanic states

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Donald Trump, struggling to stem a surge of illegal immigrants across the southern border, vowed on Thursday to impose a tariff on all goods coming from Mexico starting at 5% and ratcheting higher until the flow of border-crossers ceases.
The cost of politically correcting the conclusion is too great.

Mexico is a failed cartel state and Kamala is from California.  The two are connected, no one in their right mind is electing a president from California.

A long term chart

300 Hundred mile range

Powered by six hydrogen fuel cell batteries - one for each rotor engine - the aircraft are designed for a range of 300 miles but are envisioned mainly for short urban hops or flights between nearby cities.
This answers my question, what would be the range f a flying car if we replaced batteries with a more liquid fuel.  Electric drive is great, more stable than a regular copter. The same concept should work for planes also.

Egads day in the markets

We bumped the scary chart index once or twice.  We had many down days, the market getting bearish.  Bitcoin too high at $8700.  The yield curve is bimodal.  Floods are no stopping, Europe becoming fragile, Italy in doo doo, and Hard Brexiters on a rampage, trade war gearing up for long term.  Tesla dumping.

They all knew the second hack was discovered

They were all warned at the Cambridge Dinner party about the FBI finding the second hack. Downer was a member, Hillary would have warned the crew.  Then the meeting with Papa comes about and the plot was hatched.

All parties would have been at risk with the DNC hack, so they must have all gotten a warning of some sort. At the time of the meeting I doubt that Papa would have known yet. Then the other professor, the one who traveled to the garden party and came back, dropped a hint to Papa about Russian dirt claims Papa. The whole scene was faked evidence, Mueller knew this.

The issue is NSA and digital monetary transactions

Report to Congress ponders a future of cryptocurrency over cash

The report to Congress is too late, old news and not likely to be read.

Read my blog. We have a major contradiction, the NSA is preventing a very useful technology, cryptography, from the hands of the average voter. The average voter is much happier when cryptography is secure in their plastic cards, with bio-metric thumb print.  It is techies who need to organize the deal, and explain to Congress the trade off.

If not, Congress will give away the right to coin, to Zuck, who is under the opposite restriction; his orders are to grant that power of privacy to voters. We have an entire industry monopolized because of Congressional ignorance. Techies need to educate, educate and educate on this issue.

Mueller never had probable cause

Napolitano: Mueller’s Message Today Was That Trump Would Have Been Indicted If He Weren’t President

Napolitano is a lousy lawyer, makes a better ice cream.

Mueller knew the dossier was a bogus FBI fake from the beginning, he had no probable cause and all but indicated that early in the investigation.

Dershowitz: Shame on Robert Mueller for exceeding his role

Jeez, Dershowitz, you cannot be that dumb.  You knew this was a sham investigation from day one.

Why we didn't notice was the comedy of errors was too unbelievable for us. This whole mess was a garden party plot concocted in Cambridge, or some place over there. A political dirty tricks, business as usual,  that Mueller should have noted within a week, then shut the whole investigation down. I blame Clapper Brennan and Obama for pushing this to an investigation. Two more boneheads in the string of comedy, I already have two musicals from it and am working on a third.

Clarence Thomas Tries and Fails to Start a Climactic Abortion Fight

We have idiots at the court.

The Suremes have no right listed that lets them intervene in abortions. Thomas is being a dumb shit here, a Sotomayor, want to re-create a Citizens United. We are doomed, better off breaking up the union.

Breaking Say's Law

A few months ago, Realtor.com predicted that Chicago would have the weakest housing activity this year among the nation’s top 100 markets. Average housing prices in the Windy City still haven’t completely recovered from the real-estate downturn that began in 2009, though property taxes continue to climb. No wonder, then, that Illinois ranks among states losing the most people to other areas of the country, or that some Chicago-area homeowners are taking big losses when they sell their houses. The future doesn’t look brighter. “Taxes are high, the services [that taxes] pay for are terrible, and the debt load is so high, so palpably unsustainable that people have no belief that the resources can be found to turn it all around,” Ball State economist Michael Hicks told the local press last year.
The houses are getting boarded up, no longer marketable homes but something else, a different category, blight.  Chicago will go Detroit, making a bigger bankruptcy for the state.

Finding risk equalized S/L account holders

Machine learning algorithms gather knowledge at an oversize scale, consolidate this knowledge and establish patterns during this knowledge from its own disposition history. Based on these patterns it judges whether a borrower is credit worthy or not and regulate the process of loan decisioning engine. So AI may help you make credit decisions at scale but it is Machine Learning that helps you improve your algorithms and ensure that you are one step ahead of the industry in understanding credit and market patterns. There are few platforms which offer help in credit analysis.
And how does Smart Card help? The risk equalization is much more accurate with obey and protect digital contracts.  Prequals are a ying and yang effort, both parties searching the appropriate S/L count. We end up with something like the search engine, the stored history becomes a personal grammar between the engine and human.

Nancy protects the child trafficking racket

Sharing info on potential sponsors of unaccompanied children stalled border funding

The issue is about background checks on adult sponsors in the child trafficking ring. Many of them illegal immigrants themselves. But, deeper, no one wants to discover the ultimate source of cash, the cartels via the non-profits. We get drug running along with the child trafficking. Nancy wants to protect the racket, these non-profits are a source of Dem income. Thus we know why Kamala is unelectable, she has no choice but to adopt the cartel platform.

But Democrats have expressed concerns that fear of deportation may prevent some undocumented immigrants from stepping forward to sponsor unaccompanied children, increasing the number of children staying in temporary facilities without adequate care.

Why do primes become less dense as they get bigger?

We humans impose that rule to make rounding work. The more dense primes are used to mark round off error. The better question, the one Riemann wants is how accurate can we keep round off error by moving our measures up and down the number line.

A harbinger of future productivity gains

"The Most Destructive Breach In History": Hackers Use NSA Code To Grind Baltimore To A Halt

Yes, the release of the technology was destructive, only because of the great potential it holds.

The NSA will see the light, they will acknowledge its relevance, and that it can be safely released with a provided counterfeit proofed shell. Then, as we deploy, the data fears become productivity opportunities, the ability to control transactions with obey and protect contracts.

Stable enough dollar

It has a very slight long term trend down.  OK. But this chart tells me currency traders expect our MMT moment to be much improved from the Nixon Shock. We will do a good job.

Obamacare requires many more hospitals

Emergency room patients increasingly leave California hospitals against medical advice, and experts say crowded ERs are likely to blame.
About 352,000 California ER visits in 2017 ended when patients left after seeing a doctor but before their medical care was complete. That’s up by 57%, or 128,000 incidents, from 2012, according to data from the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development.
Another 322,000 would-be patients left the emergency room without seeing a doctor, up from 315,000 such episodes in 2012.
Several hospital administrators said overcrowding is a likely culprit for the trend. California emergency room trips grew by almost 20%, or 2.4 million, from 2012 to 2017.
Moreover, ER wait times also increased for many during that time period: In 2017, the median ER wait time for patients before admission as inpatients to California hospitals was 336 minutes — or more than 5½ hours. That is up 15 minutes from 2012, according to the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. The median wait time for those discharged without admission to the hospital dropped 12 minutes over that period, but still clocked in at more than 2½ hours in 2017.
We never built them, we were told that congestion would disappear by magic.

Floods

You can view the latest USDA crop progress report right here. According to that report, corn and soybean production is way behind expectations.
Last year, 78 percent of all corn acreage had been planted by now. This year, that number is sitting at just 49 percent.
And the percentage of corn that has emerged from the ground is at a paltry 19 percent compared to 47 percent at this time last year.
We see similar numbers when we look at soybeans.
Last year, 53 percent of all soybean acreage had been planted by now. This year, that number has fallen to 19 percent.
And the percentage of soybeans that have emerged from the ground is just 5 percent compared to 24 percent at this time last year.

Government curve shifting right

Velocity is my proxy for bandwidth.

This is total GDP, but mostly driven by government becoming sluggish. The large collection of Treasury loan is like mud, individual government agencies sludge through it. This is Fed loss of market share, know as following into a cul de sac. Our Avogadro number is shrinking, we are no good at coding for large primes.

I am thinking my Zeta Function rick.  I have a fixed precision economy, and a finite segment of the number line that needs mapping into the typical sequences of primes. As I mover right on the prime index line, by window on the integer line lengthens and moves right, at uneven chunks. But I am limited, the amount of prime index left unattended cannot exceed my imprecision. If one conceived of the 'arc' function, a function that maps some sequence into a countable integer index.  The idea behind Zeta is the limits on that mapping, a powerful bound on combinatorials with an unproven hypothesis.

The government curve is driven right as old debt appears at random intervals, more significantly. Government cannot handle the separation in interest charges, in the aggregate, it keeps shifting to far right.

Sandbox will Wienerize it

Goodhart's law is an adage named after economist Charles Goodhart, which has been phrased by Marilyn Strathern as "When a measure becomes a target, it ceases to be a good measure."
The measure still works and shares its uncertainty fairly on measurements. It becomes Brownian motion or derivatives thereof.  True, at least for us sphere packers.

Bernie is a Jew?

Ocasio-Cortez tweeted, “Can @politico explain to us how photoshopping money trees next to the only Jewish candidate for president and talking about how ‘cheap’ and rich he is *isn’t* antisemitic? Or are they just letting this happen because he’s a progressive politician they don’t like?”
I thought Sanders was an Irish name, but there is something powerful about Jewish mothers, I hear. Jews got complicated rules, upper division diversity at Redneck U.

The name came from Sanderson, and Sander was some kind of occupation back then. A northern European source. Anyway, so from now on I will look at him as some kind of fatherly old Jewish guy, running around with weird rituals. If he does something like really strange, I will think it some kind of Jewish thing.

Half the cost of pharma is simple logistics

The majority of generics bought in the US are made overseas: Roughly 40 percent are manufactured in India; 80 percent of the active ingredients in all of our drugs, whether brand-name or generic, are made in India and China. As one drug-ingredient importer put it, “Without products from overseas, not a single drug could be made.”The vast amount of overseas manufacturing presents an enormous challenge for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which must safeguard thousands of drugs manufactured abroad by foreign companies
The problem they describe, in logistic terms, is exactly the problem of gold deliveries, except replace armed guard with medical gate keeper.  We have to ship around small quantities of protected things to registered distributors.

The first thing we assume in the solution is the smart contract tech each person has. Assume doctors  and medical police can automatically verify order and delivery at each stage at zero cost. Then find out what transaction costs cost the money, and the solution will almost always be an expansion of the delivery contract terms, with a wider and more frequent ledger call.  (imposing a Hamiltonian)

This is just another sandbox problem, (and another data encryption problem); the solution and theory match, give each transaction node the small plastic card with prequalified biometric digital contracts. Then let the bots optimize inventory flow, and the medical police can extract flow details as deeply as they desire, on or off line.

Thinking like a Zeta Function

The thing above.Give me a sequence of elements having commutative property.  If I grab an infinity of these, what is the measure of them happening S times, counting duplicates so this does not converge to one. The s has to be greater than one one.  What is s contains imaginary sequences, things happening in hologram space? We let s have an inferred line of symmetry. Does it contain a measure of the duplicaets?

We see the circular problem with personal cryptography

The Baltimore data hacked and secured by thieves using technology stolen from the NSA which make it illegal for Baltimore officials to own.

It is time for sandbox and NSA to come to an agreement.  Sandbox offers some fundamentals guarantees to limit our transactions to cash with enforced contractual limits. This equalizes the technology between cops and thieves, as before.  Sandbox wants to be neutral in this conflict, neutral money transactions when the law requires.

The Baltimore is similar tech to smart card, the power to encrypt and decrypt is limited to few Baltimore officials who have the biometric plastic card containing that technology. And change is traceable, the card counterfeit proofed.  NSA can actually mandate that for government officials, today, and government officials have equivalent or same technology today.  Sandbox needs to make a Coasian bargain, get this tech into the hands of everyone, with built in limits we can all price properly.

We can limit smart card risk to $20 of internal bearer asset, by contract. Any exception goes through Law. Sandbox can agree to that, if it is time limited and up for renewal. That simple risk solved the massive internet congestion due to adds, the act of tossing pennies haze zero cost in fee or effort, it is a mouse click. Yet, there is no terrorism funding with that, so let Law expand the limit as they see fit, or set the contract terms on those limits. We are wasting time fightng Law here.

Building sand box with a small cash limit simply involves making the $20 down now , and bank exchange later. In other words, third party edger calls will come in step two, immediately after step on in the purchase contact, enforceable. So we still maintain a multiplier n cash with higher transaction fees to ledger services. In other words, get a contract with the NSA ASAP allowing personal cryptography of some sort.

Relative volatility

Ten year drops a fifth of a point in one month, which is  40 billion dollar swing in the annual budget. The emergency flood and hurricane bill was only 18 billion. There are long lists of small government programs much smaller than interest expense volatility.

Keeping the budget stable requires  Treasury to be heavy in the short end of the market, at a greater rate than most of the government programs individually. An that is why we have a debt cartel, we cannot get the large government programs on cash flow accounting. The aggregation of the balance sheets up to Treasury loses information which is re-covered in private banking, there is a constant arbitrage moment that must be regulated by cartel value net. Even then it is not a prefect regulation and wealthy people still run the arbitrage on the margins.

In theory an arbitrage is a loop in distribution, a loop created by the arbitrage trader that takes a short cut.  A true currency banker constantly exposes the loops, and expenses them. A central banker cannot help, it only works off the Treasury curve. The currency banker at efficiency is competing to get those large government budgets on account, that it can close the loops.

Just to see the effect, imagine that the New York education department and the federal education department had their own Fed accounts.  Any change at the state or federal level is immediately hedged; budget and regulation changes much smoother as the two large entities come to some market agreement. This is a huge gain, given the constant, unpriceable  chaos we have. Contradictions become exposed to Congress, they learn to shift flows a bit and be less 'coprime'.

My estimate of gains.  I suspect the long term cost of 'right to coin' at a small 1.5 T over a 15 year contract. If we add arbitrage costs, a conservative estimate is 4T.  I think it is much worse, the excess volatility on government flows has been the consistent marker of recessions. We have blown, ex post, some 8T in excess volatility over the past 30. So we have a much bigger difference between the ex-ante estimate and ex-post estimate.

The gain from closing the government loops is all endogenous to the New fed, it will have first chomp at getting those accounts. The New Fed will be making loan income, more than neutral on start up. The congestion pricing and loan income gains initially will  cover the defaults.

It is really to the benefit of all the large government programs, they will all pay that fee to a non-profit New Fed We will see a bit of impulse response, much less than Nixon Shock though.

‘No new taxes’ on middle-class Californians, say Democrats heading into talks with Newsom

Queuing momentum

We have the same position, momentum uncertainty. It is built into the bit error function.
When that function is near its lower bound, the market maker has agreement from all trader that it will jump toward positive bound soon. The contract implies momentum. It is this kind of stuff that drives our interest in Zeta function, can traders find zero crossings before the New Fed finds them?

That is the essential question, the uncertainty is built into the round robin, fair access; including congestion pricing for account membership. I think it way to large for us to use Zeta.. But the New Fed market maker always attempts to cross zero, there is never the accuracy to hit zero.

The Post

Watch it.

A good movie, and it covers all the Assange issues. The Post won, 4-3 Supremes, a small medium hurdle for Assange prosecution. The issue is the same, Assange quite a bit more aggressive, but still within the ruling.  Recruiting scoops is allowed.

Elon might consider a modification

Try your standard model with a 75 miles range, less battery hassle, second family car for short store runs, easily charged at home.  A great range for robo taxis which cane have insertable charged battery. Make a two seater version for cargo space.

Skip the dream of charger stations everywhere, instead break the charger market into segments; insertable battery, charger stations and at home charging. Take your basic chassis and segment the electric car industry to match, by range and add insertability with a new version of the same chassis. You distribute the total life cycle cost of batteries to a minimum everywhere, breathing space as better storage comes along.

The value added is electro drive, more energy efficient all around. The drawback is electric energy storage, a capital cost everywhere. Elon should be able to ride the balance.

Small landlords clash with the meth network

My discovery when I was in the business.

Landlords provide a node on a service network for purposes that are not complimentary to a meth network; the two concepts clash.  The meth head gets thrown to the street, but the meth network disrupted. Opposite goals, the small landlord demonstrates the cure by failure, meth heads cannot be housed.

So the cops around here hit the one or two decrepit buildings where they hang for cheap, and condemned them, one got burnt. Meth addiction in the neighborhood drops by a third, as does crime, and the ex addicts have run off to distant relatives across town without close access to their net.

OK, a local government with discretionary spending can see a gain, get them off the streets with incentivized short work camps.  Sort of mobile judge and jail for three days, with pay.   Keep the meth network in the hood under attack.

It is not meth or fentanyl

In recent decades, the bigger threat to the region has been drug-related violence.Maduro, besieged by U.S. economic sanctions, has been forced to seek other sources of revenue in recent months. In addition to the illicit sale of gold, the Venezuelan military is also allegedly controlling transatlantic cocaine smuggling routes. That cocaine trade, Faller said, is helping fund the remnants of Colombia's communist guerrillas, such as the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC)."The data and statistics show that their numbers have increased because of what they can gain in terms of freedom of maneuver and the economic opportunity that they get from illicit trafficking and partnering with the Maduro regime," said Faller. "Illicit narco trafficking through Venezuela is up some 40 percent.”
The bad two drugs cross the line, I think. I would call those military grade.

The Zeta function, in the news

Someone advanced the work on the Riemann Hypothesis that tells us the probability of no primes of some s selections out of the entire number line. Einstein used it to derive Bose distribution.

The hypothesis extends this to an imaginary set of selections. I interpret that to mean s selections in the induced hologram space, applying the hologram model with a set of constrained channels between primes in their order.  This is not exactly a sphere packing problem, it diverges. I will be reading up more on this. But the hologram space, in this model, are the non primes that 'orbit' between primes and the eta imaginary plane tells us the bit error in the constrained channel. That bit error has zero crossings that mark primes.

The other approach would be to make the Zeta function follow the Lindbladian equation, a little beyond my capability at the moment. But I did reference a paper in which the Zeta was fit into a Schrodinger equation.  This kind of advanced stuff will be coming out soon, I be watching.

Our Prof Halper is an interesting guy

The references to Trubnikov and Surkov [Russian dossier sources] , which have not previously been reported, are not definitive proof that either were sources for Steele’s dossier or that they were involved in an effort to collect blackmail material on Trump. But the notes are significant because they are the first government documents that show Steele discussing potential sources for the information in his dossier, which the former MI6 officer provided to the FBI.Trubnikov also has links to Stefan Halper, an FBI informant who collected information from Trump campaign aides George Papadopoulos and Carter Page. Halper arranged for Trubnikov to visit intelligence seminars at the University of Cambridge in 2012 and 2015. He also tapped Trubnikov to contribute to a Pentagon study published in 2015.
And Mr. Halper was found making up dirt about Flynn earlier.  That dirt involved an innocent Russian gal who had nothing to do with it, but she was still a babe.  Mr. Halper is an double agent for the FBI

I consider this Keystone FBI, but it is not like they were killing a Kennedy or something. What is the crime? FBI cheating on evidence is mostly a felony, jail time. The leaking of fake dirt is like an enormous lawsuit, humongous nightmare.

There was exculpatory evidence from day one, and Mueller knew it. Two weeks in the middle of election chaos when about 250 or more insiders already knew from security investigators.  But they made up everything, they had people pissing in Moscow, for christ sakes, all fake. I am laughing, so hard. But I am just glad they didn't run off an assassination.

This gal is innocent:
This lady is completely innocent of anything in Mueller's case. Halper picked her out of a list, then laid on the dirt.

.OK, I looked enough. There was one other Russian babe who was innocent, then the Russian babe lawyer was just working on personal sanctions, had no dirt. The Russian lawyer babe is so innocent the media won't let her back in.

I have a musical line with a dance sequence in mind. A rockette sort of thing, but the ladies plead innocent, their chorus, Innocent Babes are we, we Russian three

The real problem I have mentioned

The Boeing 737 Max's return to the air has reportedly been delayed by regulators looking into emergency procedures on older Boeing jets

Not just Boeing but also Airbus.  How many software systems can take control from the pilot without full knowledge of the current flight situation.

The warning system never mentioned that the plane was put in a dive by software when flight situation did not call for it. Then sending a weird noise to the pilot instead of telling the pilot the software is in nose down. Do we automatically set reverse thrust on landing, without knowing if there is snow, rain, or ice conditions?

The Boeing 737 is not the first, the Airbus have gone into auto dive at low altitudes, confused about the complete flight situation.  Autonomous software systems taking action without a complete parameter set of the current flight condition.

Software objects need maintain communication with the flight computer at all times, before any action is taken. Then the autonomous software can run the checklist, before pulling some stunt. I repeat this message, it is simple, and it allows the software to disperse objects physically. And Boeing, and Airbus, need a review of their current philosophy, it may be just that with few mechanical changes.

And the new bots do not squeaks, howl and buzz or shake. They talk succinctly in firm voices using pilot talk like, 'Fuck the plane is diving'. What do we do with that message? Communicate, communicate, communicate to all subsysems, in digital talk like:
..-. ..- -.-. -.-  - .... .   .--. .-.. .- -. . .. ...  -.. .. ...- .. -. --.

Social media giant Facebook plans to launch its own payments-focused cryptocurrency “Globalcoin” in 2020, according to a BBC news report published on May 24.

The BBC reports that tests for the forthcoming digital currency are planned to take place by the end of 2019. While Globalcoin is ostensibly the coin’s current name within the company, it has not been confirmed that it will retain the same name once development of the project is completed.

According to the BBC, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg met Bank of England governor Mark Carney last month to discuss the prospects and risks involved in its cryptocurrency launch.

Aside from this, the firm has reportedly consulted with United States Treasury officials on operational and regulatory matters — in particular in regard to identity checks procedures and mitigating money laundering risks, the BBC claims.

The report also refers to Facebook’s ongoing discussions with global payments services provider Western Union, reportedly as part of its research into providing affordable access to money transfer services for the unbanked.

Mohummerdudes kill their women

Pakistan has struck up a record number of honor killings in the space of two weeks. A dozen cases have been reported. That’s almost one a day.Islamic honor killings are often denied by Islamic supremacists. Take for example an article which is titled “There is no honor in honor killings” in Canada’s Globe and Mail newspaper. Firstly, it is obvious that there is no honor in honor killings; however, there is no denying either that the practice is done precisely to ‘preserve’ the so-called honor of the family in some cultures. The Globe and Mail article includes reference to a report published by Islamic Relief Canada aimed at “changing the narratives on honor and shame among Muslim-Canadian communities”.  The report tried to  “challenge” the so-called “misguided religious justifications for honour-based violence that are often used to perpetuate and mitigate the practice.”  Unfortunately, Islamic edict permits such action and therefore, it is not deemed to be “misguided” or wrong by those who embrace its tenets.
Somehow killing women makes Mohummerdudes honorable?  I do not get the logic.  Most of us consider this dumbshit mohummerdudism.

President Trump has granted Attorney General William P. Barr “full and complete authority” to declassify government secrets, issuing a memorandum late Thursday that orders U.S. intelligence agencies to cooperate promptly with Barr’s audit of the investigation into Russia’s election interference in 2016.The president’s move gives Barr broad powers to unveil carefully guarded intelligence secrets about the Russia investigation, which the attorney general requested to allow him to quickly carry out his review, according to the memo. …The move is likely to further anger Democrats who have said that Barr is using his position as the nation’s top law enforcement official to aggressively protect the president and attack his critics.Rep. Adam B. Both sides faking it on infrastructure

The president—and this will stun you—had not fully thought out a plan to pay for $2 trillion in infrastructure spending. Democrats had suggested the president undo some of his signature 2017 tax legislation to pay for it, but Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell immediately called this a “nonstarter,” and just about all Republicans agreed with him. House Republicans, not known for challenging the president’s dictates, said that $2 trillion was a wildly unrealistic sum, with House Republican Whip Steve Scalise saying there were not any financing options agreeable to both parties “that would come anywhere close to $2 trillion.” Senate Republican rank and file were similarly uninterested.

Changing Congressional minds on right to coin

The problem is two, one the CB is government lender of last resort and two, the dollar is a monopoly tax currency.  We cannot solve both in one contract, to uncertain.  Hence, a New Fed, fully functional with agencies in the Fed system is a gain from the monopoly tax dollar, a gain to the New Fed.

It will be the New Fed that has first right of contract renewal. Congress is not likely to name new tax monies in the first 15 years.  Congress would have to go full sandbox, they cannot do that except in steps.  The New Fed is making a long term lease on a government pricing power, and it has a positive price to be paid, currently.

Treasury curve yields crashing and flattening

We will measure low inflation because we do not have all the components of government flow working. Nor is government spending part of the Fed inflation index.  The curve is all about continuing resolutions and roll overs and paying interest charges.  Stock futures show a point loss due to foreign trade slowdown and risks to supply chains.

It is not stopping

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Waterlogged parts of the central U.S. braced Wednesday for more rain, following days of severe storms that have battered Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma and caused at least three deaths.Authorities urged residents of several small towns in Oklahoma and Kansas to leave their homes as rivers and streams rose. In the Missouri capital of Jefferson City, the mayor issued a mandatory evacuation for an area involving a handful of homes. The city’s airport also has been evacuated. The Arkansas River was approaching historic highs, while the already high Missouri and Mississippi Rivers were again rising after a multi-day stretch of storms that produced dozens of tornadoes. Forecasters predicted parts of Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas could see more severe weather Wednesday night into Thursday.
More of this is egads, more black swan.  River navigation isn't working, fields not planted, flood control structures failing, big rivers finding new paths. It gets to be a severe structural issue in that some tough decisions need be made. In the short term, this is almost enough to blue bar, it won't stop.

Liquid horse manure

The driving reason for this disparity is the millennial penchant for delaying traditional adult milestones. As a group, they are prone to choose short-term happiness and independence over long-term wealth accumulation. Now, maybe millennials are leading more fulfilling lives than their parents and grandparents, and maybe not. Comparing themselves economically to generations that embraced a different set of priorities at the same age, and then wondering why the results are different, however, is disingenuous.
The idea is that the boomers have the wisdom to work the kids to their early grave.
My words of wisdom to the millennials is avoid taxes and demand a better deal.

The author seems to forget, boomer are currently getting the same amenities as the millennials, except they will be retiring soon and don't have to pay for all the amenities.  An the cost is high, interest on 100% of GDP just to the federal government alone.

No, not the Texas Space Cadets

A key House panel has rejected the Trump administration’s plan to create Space Force, a sixth branch of the U.S. military focused on orbital operations.
The proposal “leaves many unanswered questions and lacks important details and supporting analysis to justify the proposed size, scope, cost, roles, and authorities for the new military service,” members of the Democrat-led House Appropriations Committee’s defense subcommittee said in their report on the 2020 budget proposal.
That markup reflects the subcommittee’s decisions last week.

Los Angeles officials are bracing for the release of a report that’s likely to show little or no progress in reining in homelessness, despite the $619 million they spent last year to grapple with the crisis.
The gloomy prognosis on one of Southern California’s top political issues emerged during two recent briefings on homelessness and the 2019 point-in-time count, the results of which are due to be released May 31…
Authorities reported that 53,000 L.A. County residents were homeless in 2018. Lynn said the 2019 point-in-time count, which was conducted in January, was being held for further analysis.
One might have thought the Mayor would have figured out housing first, then invited a million immigrants second.  Not in Calizuela.

Another gadget from the Fed

Why the Fed Should Create a Standing Repo Facility

This one lets banks borrow from reserves based on treasuries for collateral.

Before we discuss this, let us restate our model. In the S/L banker, agents keep savings and loan accounts. The central bank has a choice, act like a normal S/L banker or cycle.

The various banking theorists are trying to inch around the problem, like Keynesians trying to fake a multiplier lightly greater than one. It does not work.  Banking theorists have one choice, lease the right to coin from Congress and get Treasury out of the loop completely. Then the right to coin is properly hedged and the central banker can pretend to be a standard S?L banker.

The new gadget does move the central banker closer to a normal S?L corridor, but at any given moment, the law prevails, Congress will be the majority borrower, violating representative sample and causing a cycle.

Waiting for Godot

Ocasio-Cortez: 'We have to move forward' with impeachment

AOC is stuck.

She cannot go into budget negotiations and deliver huge interest rate hikes to her constituents. And she cannot go to MMT meetup without a Dem in the prez spot,  except Biden. Biden plans a tax and sequester.

So AOC has no where to turn, she is at Godot cul de sac, relentlessly flailing at ghosts.

AOC is facing the usual as described by Politico in the Playbook:

TALKS BEGIN TODAY between the “Big Four” top congressional leaders and the TRUMP ADMINISTRATION over the budget and debt limit. Here’s the crux of it: Steep spending cuts -- known as the sequester -- automatically take hold in early 2020 if Congress doesn’t come to a spending caps agreement at some point this year. The debt limit needs to be lifted sometime this fall, too.

AOC and crew have no representation in the talks, in fact, the budget system seems beyond her comprehension, and most of us also.   But she has to OK a series of continuing resolutions or sequester or a two year battle with NY and Cal about who gets taxes.  None of this is the MMT moment she wants. She and the left wing are permanently stuck at waiting for Godot.

So why not impeachment? Nothing in the Swamp is otherwise solved from her point of view. And it was idiot Republicans who defined modern impeachment with Bubba. So, yes, go ahead, try an impeachment, gnarl things up badly. At least it protects AOC constituents from their own vote, they can lose their money without governments help.

Drone wars in the middle east

Terrorists can produce chemical weapons and transport them with drones, the head of Russia’s security services has warned, stressing that extremists are developing more sophisticated ways to carry out attacks.

Iran, Israel, Syria and soon the Saudis will all have their GPS guided drones.  They will bomb each others oil facilities. Pin pricks, really.

Hire a firm, make a dossier

In recent weeks, Mr. Trump has called for inquiries into the Bidens relating to the younger Mr. Biden’s business in Ukraine, an effort amplified by Rudolph W. Giuliani, the president’s personal lawyer.
“One hundred percent — it’s a disgrace,” Mr. Trump said in an interview with Steve Hilton, a Fox News host, when asked if the Bidens’ supposed financial ties with China should be investigated.
I think Bannon is free, hire old Bannon to pay for Ukrainian dirt on Biden, then slip the dossier to the FBI. Once you have the FBI hot and bothered, you can leak stuff to the NYT..

Playing with Planck

The new kilogram just debuted. It’s a massive achievement.
The new definition represents a victory of humankind over chaos in the universe. Really.

Planck has the units of momentum times distance, it is the uncertainty of measuring the smallest thin.  So the physicists fixed the definition of  the kilogram, set the number of meters light travels to a constant, then measured Planck to assumed constant accuracy. In other words, the uncertainty of plank is no longer referenced back to the uncertainty of a kilogram, the uncertain kilogram is carried in the uncertainty of Planck. Sounds complicated, it is about who has the biggest error term, measuring Planck became more accurate than measuring a kilogram.

OK, let us play a game.  Let us set the constant of light at the number of things that can be packed into a givern sphere packing system.  Uncertainty is the uncertainty of the smallest thing.  Then:
momentum* distance = Planck becomes:  X * DX = (number items) * (uncertainty of one item).
X and DX being the generic units of an induced hologram, fake axis.

The equations means, if one sphere of things has X as an axis, then it must pack DX things,  DX being a condition on X resulting from the hologram conditions.  Number items becomes a generic Avogadro number, and the uncertainty of the smallest thing becomes 1/Avagadro. This becomes a probability transformation at absolute zero.

Or something like that.

And whiteness is fleeing the system

At least four top Department of Education executives who have been demoted or stripped of duties under Carranza’s sweeping reorganization are poised to sue the city, claiming he has created “an environment which is hostile toward whites,” a source told The Post. The women — all white, veteran administrators — contend they were pushed aside for less qualified persons of color.“These decisions are being made because DOE leadership believes that skin color plays a role in how to get equity — that white people can’t convey the message,” said a source familiar with the complaints.“There’s a toxic whiteness concept going on.”
White kids go suburban schools after being drummed out of inner schools.  Racial segregation results from racism.

6 T says John Maudlin

The Coming Pension Crisis Is So Big That It's A Problem For Everyone

I have 4T to 12T as our meetup price for costing right to coin. Not all of this right to coin, but the New Fed will absorb extra costs. Keep it to the low side.

An official mass layoff

DETROIT (Reuters) - Ford Motor Co said on Monday it will eliminate about 10% of its global salaried workforce, cutting about 7,000 jobs by the end of August as part of its larger restructuring in a move that will save the No. 2 automaker $600 million annually.

Employment population ratio

And it discontinued in 2013. Missing are children and retired boomers.  It is that downward trend that makes CBO numbers go up, but it is not reflected as unemployment. However, it is really involuntary incentives that drive the volatility, the various common labor contracts over the various boomer sub groups causing stampede effects.

Things like variable retirement ages, early payouts, and reactions to recessions. This volatility is equivalent to involuntary layoffs, but not counted. Over the complete spectra,we will price equalize this volatility, it ends up in the sticky labor accounts nonetheless and we get a backwards repricing.

Not all of the variance is right to coin. A four point variation over 30 years?  Measurable, but a fairly small ATM fee, the the driver of misery. The bigger cost are those middle cycles, the election cycles. We have a sort of battle of shifting the blame, and the hard bounds conflate a bit.  Right to coin pays a third.

My number, 8 T over the contract is high. But there are obvious productivity gains in that contract, and its renewal. The New Fed will collect a surplus of congestion fees, large aggregate accounts that need shorty end bets. But the New Fed is profitless, so we can see right away the New fed is buying extra market share.  The idea makes a whole lot of sense, a business deal with Congress, everyone should win something here. Banks and finance should get the reason, the repricing and find some Coasian symmetry, it becomes a tiny, fixed fee, over some long period.

Kick the can or have meetup

KATIE NOTOPOULOS

Google has a secret page that records all the things you've bought online

OK, nice page. I want one.

My smart muse projects that page directly, and it keeps it secret, even from me unless I thumbprint my OK using smart mouse. I trust my smart mouse, Intel will swear on a stack of lawsuits that my smart mouse processor keeps a secret key and the NSA has OKed it.

When I acquired the smart tech, it came with a built in deal between me and the NSA. I agree to use this for personal monetary contracts only, and the NSA lets my smart mouse create and hold  secret keys.

Government imbalances

Deficits rising in blue, interest charges rising in Red. About 40% of the deficit being used to pay past interest due.

Think of the boomers taking a lease on the Texas S/L bailout from 1980s.  We are still renting that bailout machine, and millennials have no idea what that was all about. Nor do millennials want to deal with the hassle of expensing that bailout every year to infinity.

That cost was buried by Congress due to the Senate and the right to coin. The right to coin, I figure, owes about a third of that for aiding and abetting. The rest of that cycle cost is getting dumped on Congress. Congress gets so much ice they can devote to past blunders of the Senate.

We will assign causality in the repeated past. The CB problem is not all of this, by a long shot. The CB problem can be expensed directly as inflation (losses Wienerized over time).

Notice a pattern?

In the past, when deficits suddenly rise, we are already in a recession. Jobs lost is the definition of ble bar, and jobs lost is tax income gone and capital gains falling for G, yields a suddenly increasing deficit.  We look like a mild recession, and 15 years from now beans counters might price in a light blue period via repricing backwards. They will say our unemployment numbers were useless because boomer retirement stampedes went un-noticed.  On a volatility basis, the boomer stampedes had all the characteristics of unexpected, and unmeasured, unemployment.

This looks like secular stagnation, the long spectral moment crossing zero. An opportunity to see it, and know it and trade it all at once.  The economists will finally say,'Yea, OK, but we can t least improve it'.

Government imbalances

Lacy Hunt: This Is One Of The Most Important Charts In Economics

Savings vs spending. Here is another way to look at it.

When we price via 'inflation' the ten year rises, and we reprice all the stuff we bought 40 years ago, we never paid principle. Price hikes get reflected in interest charges from the past.  We have tipped.

We will have defaults, but we will do a nice job of it. There is no reason we will screw it up worse than Nixon.

The Senate should approve the New Fed today

If so, then tomorrow, what happens?

Two important things, that 1.5 T in government debt the Fed currently holds sets sterilized, it is now needed as  source of default debt, and is priced against the generic currency account the Fed opens, at zero. That account has a 2.5% upward default force, it cannot stay at zero. That account will be the default trend minus any net endogenous gains in banking productivity. S/L accounts can bet their productivity, and agencies will pay entry fees for accounts..

Second the Fed is eager to sign up the large government accounts and begins to act like a normal S/L retail banker, it competes under the representative sample clause. The large government accounts are looking at the New Fed currency account, they know it must move up. They want a Fed account to hedge the defaults.

Everyone wonders when the defaults happen, so Powell defaults on 25 billion for the collective test, and who knows?

From then on it is fun, and all the gains depend on he New Fed acting like an old fashioned S/L banker with currency powers under a non-profit mandate. The New Fed can create and destroy currency within a contacted variance. But, the New Fed will contend with the default process, like any other account, it has no real pre-knowledge.  When the observed trend deviates from default rate, the machine burns bonds. Everyone watches, but queues optimally price congested already.

Fair, fun, a learning experience, and productivity improving. We will get a Moore's Law jump, two or three generations of it all down the banking system. Better counting once we unbundle the government programs. The time has come today, young hearts may go their way. It really doesn't matter anyway. The Fed and member accounts are eft with the human job, making deals, signing contract, moving money; all with a much better hologram.

Eating the seed corn in Venezuela

NYTimes: ….the drop in Venezuela’s economic output under Mr. Maduro has undergone the steepest decline by any country not at war since at least 1975.
By year’s end, Venezuela’s gross domestic product will have shrunk by 62 percent since the beginning of the recession in 2013.Venezuela has lost a tenth of its population in the past two years as people fled, even trekking across mountains, setting off Latin America’s biggest ever refugee crisis.Venezuela’s hyperinflation, expected to reach 10 million percent this year according to the I.M.F., is on track to become the longest period of runaway price rises since that in the Democratic Republic of Congo in the 1990s.“This is essentially a total collapse in consumption,” said Sergi Lanau, deputy chief economist at the Institute of International Finance…
He [worker] said he lost his job at a hotel when looters ransacked it in March, ripping out even window frames and cable wiring. He now collects wild plums to sell for a few cents in the city’s parks. Most of his community’s diet now consists of wild fruits, fried corn pastries and bone broth, residents said.
Farther from the state capital, conditions are worse.
…The four stone quarries that are the island’s only industry have been idle since robbers stole all power cables connecting them to the grid last year. Local opposition activists estimate up to a third of the residents have emigrated from the island in the past two years.
“It used to be a paradise,” said Arturo Flores, the local municipality’s security coordinator, who sells a fermented corn drink from a bucket to local fishermen to round up his salary, which is equivalent to $4 a month. “Now, everyone is fleeing.”

Inclusive

A network of academic economists committed to an inclusive economy and society. Our members develop and discuss policy ideas based on sound scholarship.

A group of economists want to help the little gal without a Committee of Political Greeness. Good idea.

Start with the costs of skewness in the legislatures, the Senate. Add in the right to coin.  These costs get dumped on the little guy, and he is no more responsible than anyone else.

Here is the redneck motto on inclusivity, make more lines, more efficient transactions so we have fewer people in third place.   The little guy can always take the short line for an intermediate good, take it home and finish the recipe. Substitability is another version of commutativity.

Start by pricing  the Constitution correctly, that thing is expensive in cycle costs. Unbundle, unbundle, unbundle that each program trades its way around Constitutional blocks.

Jaundiced eye?

As DOJ Investigation Looms
"I was concerned about it and had a jaundiced eye..."
Said Obama's lawyer upon learning about the dossier.

The appearance of the dossier came slightly after the discovery of DNC hacks.  We have, FBI discovers hacks, Hillary produced paid for Russian acquired dirt. Then finally, of the hundred people who knew about Russian dirt we wait for Papa to mention the words in an off hand remark. Remember, the second hack discovered almost immediately after being installed, so there was about four week opportunity for Ruskie to collude in that time frame. A contradiction known to the FBI, Carter's prior travels were irrelevant, there was nothing collude about. Ruskie is not going to bargain hack number one then risk  hack number two.  The collusion happened in the middle of the four weeks of election chaos, an impossibility.  Steele managed the plot because McCain had already paid him for a set of fake dirt memos. McCain had people peeing all over the place even before he knew what an e mail was.

This sequence was known at the time, and Obama's lawyer said fine, make this an investigation into the other guy getting paid for Russian dirt.  How does the contradiction pass? Explain the cultural context.  The FBI never expected to prove otherwise, there was exculpatory evidence from day one. This was about a few FBI agents rigging a press manipulation, making the press pass paid dirt.

All this known to Mueller, he had no probable cause from day one, this was simply the usual dirty politics that went a bit far. Mueller played the same dirty politics with a cover up.

Pardon all of them except the lawyer(s). A comedy straight from Shakespeare, a cascade of bonehead plots. Trump had nothing to do with any of this and was correct in calling it nonsense compounded.
