Try your standard model with a 75 miles range, less battery hassle, second family car for short store runs, easily charged at home. A great range for robo taxis which cane have insertable charged battery. Make a two seater version for cargo space.
Skip the dream of charger stations everywhere, instead break the charger market into segments; insertable battery, charger stations and at home charging. Take your basic chassis and segment the electric car industry to match, by range and add insertability with a new version of the same chassis. You distribute the total life cycle cost of batteries to a minimum everywhere, breathing space as better storage comes along.
The value added is electro drive, more energy efficient all around. The drawback is electric energy storage, a capital cost everywhere. Elon should be able to ride the balance.
