When the bots run transportation, Faraday will be there. Give me a platform that carries a thousand pounds, and has a ten horsepower motor-generator. I add a delivery arm, and it drives around dropping boxes curb side.. I can cost justify dropping off a pair of shoes, the delivery business transformed.
All electric controls and drive, great, but I need a generator, batteries alone will not do. Eliminate the driver and scales are disrupted as the vehicles can be made to fit the cargo.

Years ago I said my hometown, Fresno, CA, should open up a neighborhood for automated delivery, and open up some old highways for ulttra fast bus rapid transit. Why not? Silicon Valley is just up the road. We coulda been a contender, now Nevada beat us to it. Nevada, it has one advantage, there ois no Sacramento in Nevada, All; we get is this stupid 19th century choo choo.
