Back away from the dome a kilo or so, then drill small shafts and add a condensing heat engine, to reuse water. The energy of the dome is farmed by enterprise, earth save, free electricity generation, holocene man triumphant over ice age man.
Ice age man would have us blow the dome and send the earth into a million year ice over. The human race crammed into equatorial cities. Place your vote, there is no moral guidance.
