The pension paying districts have been reporting. I sample the results on Pension Tsunami. The current theme seems to be a bit more financial stress, but not yet breaking. Bakersfield seems typical. New hiring in local guv has mostly stopped except replacement teachers and health care growth. Doing our part in keeping the 82 yard can kick on target.
