Spending contest among the candidates

Warren proposes that the federal government help make high-quality child care more available nationwide (in part by growing Head Start), and then provide that care for free to families making under 200 percent of the federal poverty line ($50,200 a year for a family of four). Warren’s plan would cap child care costs for other families at seven percent of their annual income. Her plan’s $70 billion annual price tag would be covered by a new “ultra-millionaire tax” on those with a net worth of more than $50 million.
Harris is about 50 billion, minimum. Liz at 70 billion. Given government accuracy, let us call that even.  Bernie and the medicare crowd will propose another 150 billion a year.   This comes to a 10% increase in Swamp, relative to baseline. They are all having to vote on their own goodie package soon, and actually I doubt trump cares all that much.

This is lots of melted ice, and we have not yet heard from AOC and her crowd. They propose to raise gas taxes by 25% to cover it all, that plus Liz and the wealth tax.  So we be seeing tax hikes every where, every time.
